Aside from shear wall blocking our project is fully framed and ready for the finished roof assembly!
We went with a TPO membrane for our low slope roof which is at a code minimum 1/4:12.
Prior to installing the roofing we air-sealed all our plywood seams with Siga Wigluv, a tape specifically designed for this application.
A 60-mil TPO was rolled out and fastened through a 1/4” underlayment.
The TPO rolls out over a 1/4” board underlayment that is set over a tapered insulation, which creates the required drainage slope. All components are mechanically fastened to the roof decking with TPO fastener covers heat welded on site.
